🚨 One Dashboard to Rule Them All (Sorta)
The 2021 Legislature mandated statewide reporting on police use-of-force incidents. That has now come to pass in the form of a statewide dashboard compiling such information from all of Nevada’s law-enforcement agencies — in theory. But some 20 agencies haven’t submitted information required by the law. [Nevada Independent]

🌳 Feds Buy Us Some Trees
The feds are giving $5 million to an urban forestry project headed by UNLV. Due to begin in January, the effort will verify arborists and plant trees around the school, in East Las Vegas, the Historic Westside, and North Las Vegas. [UNLV]
🔒 Jail Time — Lots of It
A report prepared for the city of Henderson makes clear the staggering amount of overtime being worked by the city’s jail personnel — close to $5 million over the last three years. Officials say part of the problem is chronic understaffing, and another part is that overtime is lucrative. Meanwhile, jailers are reportedly making basic procedural mistakes. [Review-Journal]
