October 12, 2023
😎 Hey, Las Vegas! Saturday morning brings a solar eclipse, though in Las Vegas we’ll only see about 80% of its “ring of fire.” It begins just after 8 a.m. and peaks at 9:26. Local libraries can help you get ready and offer you a place to watch. Otherwise, take proper optical precautions!

💰 Breaking Ranks
Nevada Sens. Catherine Cortez Masto and Jacky Rosen are among the small number of Democrats breaking ranks with President Biden by calling for the White House to refreeze $6 billion in Iranian assets following the Hamas attack on Israel. [Nevada Independent]
