Happy Thursday! Hey, I’ve lost track; are we in first autumn or second autumn?

Anyway, onward; coffee and weirdness await!

What's CITY Talking About?
🌽 Vendor Bender
The recent state measure allowing for street vendors doesn’t necessarily mean street vendors will be allowed. Clark County has more or less banished them from the Strip, and tough new restrictions proposed by the City of Las Vegas — 1,000-foot separation from pools, parks, schools, and pretty much anything else — seems likely to make vending difficult within city limits. The New Supper Clubs of Las Vegas
Supper clubs? That sounds older than old-school — there are a lot of fedoras in the mental image conjured up by the phrase. But, as Review-Journal columnist and indefatigable man-about-town John Katsilometes tells podcast host Dayvid Figler, they’re back, and in a big way.
That’s it for today. See you tomorrow.
