After plans for an NBA-ready arena fizzled out in the North Strip, a local real estate company is stepping in to finish the job. LVXP wants to break ground on a 2,500-room luxury resort and potential 20,000-seat arena by early 2025 in the lot between the Fontainebleau and Sahara. [Las Vegas Review-Journal]

🐴 Horses Welcome to Roam Mt. Charleston
Residents want wild horses to stick around on Mt. Charleston. A petition hopes to put the brakes on a plan to relocate the horses to a sanctuary and put them up for adoption. [KSNV]
