Police have confiscated 150 knives and 41 handguns at Clark County schools this year — and we still have another week or so until summer break. For comparison, 30 guns were confiscated during the 2023-2024 school year. [KVVU]
⚾ New Stadium: Where Should We Put It?
Despite the fancy renderings, we still don’t know exactly where the new A’s baseball stadium will be constructed on the Tropicana site. On the corner? In the middle? We’ll see. Meanwhile, Bally’s Corp is game to bring in a partner to help build a hotel next to the stadium. But you don’t want to rush these things anyway 🙃 [Las Vegas Review Journal]
🏠 Property Brothers Production Faces Lawsuit
A Las Vegas couple may add “Property Brothers” Jonathan and Drew Scott to a lawsuit against the former production company behind the HGTV series. The plaintiffs paid $200,000 to have their home renovated for the show, but claim inexperienced contractors violated building codes and caused long-term damage.
