🫣 A tattoo bad enough to sue?

May 9, 2024 · Rob Kachelriess

Did you know at least two Arts District restaurants have live country music? That’s something I learned during yesterday’s episode of City Cast Las Vegas 🤠

What's CITY Talking About?

😵‍💫 Lawsuit Over Botched Tattoo

Las Vegas is full of awful tattoos, so imagine one so bad, it could lead to a lawsuit. A Canadian tourist is planning legal action against Illuminati Tattoo after shoddy work was done by an employee with an expired body art card. The owner has already agreed to cover laser removal. [KLAS]

🛌 A New Strip Hotel … with Pickleball?

Tilman Fertitta’s 43-story resort is moving forward at Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon, even if activity seems quiet 🥱 Fertitta is evaluating options, but modified plans to include pickleball courts — a first on the Strip. The resort will have 2,420 rooms, restaurants, convention space, a theater, spa, and wedding chapel. Now, if we could finally get rid of the empty Tex Mex Tequila Bar & Grill on the corner, we’ll know progress is truly being made 👏 [Las Vegas Review-Journal]

🎰 Record Casino Profits

Who knew? Casinos can actually make money 🙃 Wynn Resorts saw record earnings of $646.5 million in the first quarter while the company shifts focus to a new United Arab Emirates property. The success of Durango has led to a record $488.9 million for Red Rock Resorts and expanded parking is already in the works. [KLAS]
