🏀 Is the WNBA unfairly investigating the Aces?

May 22, 2024 · Rob Kachelriess

The big problem in Vegas — there’s sometimes too much stuff to do. Tonight alone, there are two pop-up pizza events: Brezza’s Nicole Brisson at 00 Pie & Pub and the Toddy Shop’s Hemant Kishore at Yukon Pizza. Either way, you can’t lose 😋 🍕

🏀 LVCVA Stands By Aces Sponsorship

The Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority’s $1.2 million sponsorship of the Las Vegas Aces wasn’t approved by the tourism agency’s board. 🗳️ On local politics

The people of Nevada are great. It’s the greedy, corrupt leaders that make anything truly good hard to come by. The fact that Vegas is choosing a baseball stadium over what’s best for our children while it’s the teachers fighting for those funds speaks louder than words.

As for the question of why the mayoral debate was scheduled at the Fontainebleau, the politicians at the City of Las Vegas could never wrap their collective heads around the fact that the Las Vegas Strip is not within the City of Las Vegas limits. I guess it was always wishful thinking on their part.

🛒 On disappearing self-checkout lanes

I am with you on self-checkouts. I don't usually go back if the store doesn't have them. After I've had to deal with people all day, I just wanna pay for my stuff and go home and not have to talk to another person!

😴 Press releases we barely read …

  • Best & Worst States for Military Retirees in 2024 (Nevada was #47)
  • 2024’s Worst Cities for Bed Bug Infestations (Vegas was #75)
  • Nevada #5 Worst State for Apocalypse Survival 😦
