What's CITY Talking About?
🗳️ Kennedy Sues Nevada to Get on the Ballot
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is suing Nevada in an effort to get on the November ballot. The independent presidential candidate’s initial petition violated a state law by not including the name of a running mate — which the state initially (and erroneously) said was okay. And who wants to start over this late in the game anyway? [KLAS]
⚖️ Law Office Closes After Deadly Shooting
The Prince Law Office in Summerlin has closed for good. It’s where founder Dennis Prince and wife Ashley were shot and killed during a child custody deposition in April. The gunman, Ashley Prince’s former father-in-law, then turned the gun on himself. [KVVU]
🦟 Mosquitos Invade West Valley
The mosquito problem is getting worse in Las Vegas, thanks to a new species that is exploding in population throughout Summerlin and the Northwest Valley. They only need a bottlecap of water to breed, prompting exterminators to bring out fogging systems and traps to curb the outbreak. [KTNV]
