🚘 Driver Makes Two Mistakes
A woman charged in a deadly hit-and-run on a Summerlin Parkway off-ramp took her car to a Pahrump body shop, saying the damage was from hitting construction equipment. The mechanic saw blood on the car and called police, leading to the arrest. [Las Vegas Review-Journal]
🐶 Animal Foundation Near Capacity
If you’re looking to adopt a pet, now’s a perfect time. The Animal Foundation is running out of space after taking in nearly 1,000 animals since the beginning of June, including 38 dogs from one home alone 😡 To ease the burden, a walk-in foster event takes place today from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., so please help if you can and have the means to do so. 🤗 Friends and Eagles
Two big attractions are coming to the Strip. The MGM Grand will become the West Coast flagship location for The Friends Experience, featuring exhibits and photo stations dedicated to the ‘90s sitcom. Meanwhile, the Eagles finally made their Sphere residency official, announcing four weekends of shows from September 20 to October 19. [KSNV]
