🌋 The Mirage Begins to Disappear
Some things to know about the Mirage closure …
- Sunday is the last opportunity for an overnight stay.
- Gambling wraps up around midnight on Wednesday.
- Employees will have the first crack at an auction for art and other items.
- Something special is planned for the final performance of the Mirage volcano show.
- Mirage casino chips can be cashed in at Treasure Island for 120 days after July 17. [Las Vegas Review-Journal]
🛒 Hello Piggly Wiggly
Albertson’s is trying hard to complete a merger with Kroger (the brand behind Smith’s). To make it happen and satisfy regulators, 15 Albertsons or Vons grocery stores in Southern Nevada could be sold to the company behind Piggly Wiggly. [KSNV]
