What's CITY Talking About?
All the Delegates Go Here 👉 Kamala Harris
Every one of the Democratic Party's 49 delegates in Nevada are pledging to back Kamala Harris for president. The vice president has already locked in enough delegate support to secure the nomination, effectively putting any questions about a brokered convention to rest. [KSNV]

- Las Vegas will forever be the last place Joe Biden campaigned as a presidential candidate. After recovering from COVID, the president addresses the nation at 5 p.m. tonight for the first time since dropping out of the race. [KTNV]
😭 Students Can’t Loosen Grip on Cellphones
The Clark County school year begins August 12 (already?) with a brand-new policy that requires the placement of cellphones in signal-blocking bags during class time. A student started a petition to halt the idea, gaining more than 12,000 signatures. [Nevada Independent]
🐕 Dog Returns Home 9 Nine Years Later
A family has reunited with a pet chihuahua who went missing nine years ago — and launched a GoFundMe page to cover medical bills. The dog was found in Henderson after a microchip scan. [KTNV]
- Reminder: The City of Las Vegas is requiring microchips in all dogs and cats beginning August 1.
