What's CITY Talking About?

⛈️ Storm Brewing For Allegiant

Allegiant does big business in Florida and the Vegas-based airline is pushing the throttle to navigate flights and crews away from the path of Hurricane Milton. The potential once-in-a-lifetime storm is also heading directly toward Allegiant's new Sunseeker resort on Florida’s west coast. [Las Vegas Review-Journal]

  • Wild Fig BBQ has ties to North Carolina, which is still feeling the effects of Helene, and is donating all profits from October sales to hurricane relief efforts 🤯

🙏 Justice for Reba

Finally — security video reveals a couple in what appears to be a white Kia Forte who might be responsible for abandoning a bulldog in a sealed plastic tub behind a Von’s grocery store. The dog, named Reba by those who tried to help, died from her injuries. Identify the suspects and you could earn a $50,000 reward. [KTNV]

🛍️ Ulta-mate Error

It appears two women thought they could get away with pocketing more than $10,000 worth of beauty products from a business police only identify as a store in the Arroyo Crossing shopping center. Oops. They were caught on camera and now their faces are in the news. The “Daily Beauty Steals” sign in the background says it all — and is a clear giveaway the store is Ulta. 🎥 Warner Bros. Studio a Tourist Attraction?

A deal for a Las Vegas Warner Bros. studio isn’t even finalized yet, but plans are already in the works for the site to include a tour-like attraction similar to ones by the movie giant in Hollywood, London, and Tokyo. The news emerged in an economic report that predicts $1.2 billion in annual impact to the Vegas market and 16,500 local jobs. [KLAS]
