What's CITY Talking About?
😳 Could it All Come Down to … Vegas?
Nevada is one of seven key battleground states that could determine the fate of the White House. So City Cast put together a special cross-cities podcast with hosts from Philly, Pittsburgh, and Madison, along with Dayvid Figler representing Las Vegas. The discussion, hosted by City Cast CEO David Plotz, covers a lot of ground, from trends to key issues and more. It ain’t easy being a swing state — and we’re not alone. [City Cast Las Vegas 🎧]
🏈 Follow the Underground Tunnel to Allegiant Stadium
On-site parking is tight to begin with at Allegiant Stadium, but now a northwest corner of the lot could give up 200 spaces for the construction of a Vegas Loop station. Will we even notice traffic jams if they’re underground? 🤔 [Las Vegas Review-Journal]
🩺 Point, Click, Get Healthcare
Open enrollment is underway for Nevada Health Link, the state-run insurance marketplace made possible through the Affordable Care Act — as long as Donald Trump doesn’t get elected and repeal it. DACA recipients have clarified access for the first time this year. [Nevada Current]
- Learn more about open enrollment and why so few Nevadans have health coverage compared to other parts of the country. [City Cast Las Vegas 🎧]
