Every vote counts — until it doesn’t. More than 9,000 Nevada ballots in question failed to be cured by Tuesday’s deadline. Note for conspiracy theorists: That’s not enough to swing the presidential race or even the down-to-the-wire U.S. Senate race. Smaller down-ballot contests could be another story 🤷 [Nevada Current]
- Allegiant Stadium was the most visited polling place in Southern Nevada on Election Day, drawing nearly 4,000 voters. [Nevada Independent]
🙃 AREA15 is Keeping Its Name
Despite media reports misreading an Instagram post and saying AREA15 is changing its name to the Vegas Immersive District, some clarification is in order. The district applies to more than 35 acres of development that will include AREA15 without changing the name of the attraction. Either way, we’re getting more entertainment, hotel rooms, and overuse of the word “immersive.” [City of Las Vegas]
