March 10, 2025 · Rob Kachelriess

☀️ It’s a brighter day in Las Vegas. Literally.

We “sprang forward” to daylight saving time yesterday. And it could be the last time we do it in Nevada if the proposed Lock the Clock Act passes in Carson City 👀

Las Vegas is known as the "ninth island" for its popularity among Hawaiians, yet this hula dancer appears to be holding a lucky clover — just in time for St. Patrick’s Day next Monday.

She’s cute, but also dangerous. (Look at that knife 😳) It’s a striking image that makes a statement.

Where is it?

A. Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar at Town Square?

B. The Rockin’ Ink Tattoo Company at the Westgate?

C. Ai Pono Cafe at Durango?

D. Zippy’s at the Arroyo Crossing shopping plaza?

What To Do

The dancer greets visitors to Ai Pono Cafe at Durango’s Eat Your Heart Out food hall. I assume the knife is a reference to the skills of Chef Gene Villiatora and the dice, four-leaf clover, and horseshoe are symbols of luck for the casino patrons.
