🎰 So, deep down inside … does everyone really love Las Vegas?
Nearly 90% of visitors say they’re “very satisfied” with their Las Vegas vacation experience — despite what rising resort fees, paid parking, and long check-in lines might suggest.
Then again, the survey was done by the LVCVA, who has an interest in promoting our city as a tourist destination, so take it with a grain of salt 🧂

What's CITY Talking About?

📺 Vegas is One Big Reality TV Show
Say goodbye to The Cromwell and hello to the Vanderpump Hotel. The boutique resort is getting a full rebranding in honor of Bravo TV personality and business powerhouse Lisa Vanderpump, who’s already partnered with Caesars Entertainment on three Strip restaurants (and counting). Expect a full design makeover of the property and don’t be surprised if TV crews, the Toms, and plates of goat cheese balls make an appearance. [CNN]
- Police say the wife of “Ghost Adventures” star Aaron Goodwin plotted her husband’s murder from Las Vegas. He’s still alive. She’s in jail. The plot involved Barstow. Nothing good happens in Barstow. [KSNV]
- Rick Harrison of Vegas-based “Pawn Stars” is newly engaged, and people can’t stop talking about the age difference between him and the bride to be — although she’s only 18 years younger. I’m sure everyone involved takes the chatter as a compliment. [TMZ/Instagram]
🏠 From Home Plate to Home Communities
Lennar Homes made the top bid to acquire the site of Cashman Field and the City of Las Vegas will vote to finalize the deal next week. The $36 million sale will help chip away at the city’s $286 million settlement over the Badlands golf course community dispute — which also ended with Lennar coming in to build new homes. [KTNV]
🗳️ Rare Agreement in Carson City
Republicans and Democrats in the Assembly have found common ground on something — a bill that refines the timeline for sending out mail ballots to Nevada voters. The main issue: making sure all sample ballots arrive first. [Nevada Independent]
