🎰 Roman Empire Gets Smaller

You may have forgotten it’s even there, but the empty, inactive rotunda on the Strip-side of Caesars Palace will probably get torn down later this year. No word on what might replace it. (I’m placing bets on a CVS.) [Las Vegas Review-Journal]

💉 Ozempic, by the People for the People

Nevada lawmakers are considering a new law that would allow the state’s Medicaid system to cover weight-loss drugs like Ozempic. Supporters say it would help offset the costs connected to treating obesity. [Nevada Current]

🙏 Sending warm thoughts to Norm Clarke, along with his family and friends. The former Review-Journal columnist is no longer receiving cancer treatment and is now in hospice. I used to run into him here and there when I was a newbie Vegas journalist and he was always more friendly than he needed to be. A class act for sure 👍
