🙏 Remembering Elaine Wynn

The passing of Elaine Wynn is sad news for the Las Vegas community. Alongside former husband Steve Wynn, she was pivotal in the development of resorts like the Mirage, Bellagio, Golden Nugget, Treasure Island, and of course, the Wynn. She was more than a famous name, actively championing art and philanthropy in the community long after her marriage ended. Elaine Wynn was 82 years old. [Nevada Independent]

🐶 “Reba’s Law” Revived

Remember when we told you bills that failed to pass committee by Friday’s deadline had little chance to move forward in the current legislative session? 💰 Rent Control for Storage Units?

🚽 Nevada Drinks the Most Toilet Water

Out of the seven states that rely on the Colorado River, Nevada is far and away the leader in water recycling with an 85% reuse rate. The next closest is Arizona with 52% and the worst is Utah with next to nothing. If everyone got on board in reusing toilet water, it would boost annual water availability by 1.3 million acre-feet.
