🚨 ICE activity picks up in Vegas
April 18, 2025 · — Rob Kachelriess
☹️ This is a bummer …
Ortikia is closing later this month at Green Valley Ranch. I recommend checking it out while you can. The happy hour is great by casino standards and there’s a $75 prix-fixe Easter menu this Sunday that looks good.
Either way, I hope all who celebrate have a great Easter weekend! 🐰

😮💨 Reminder: Weed is Legal Now
Even though cannabis is legal in Nevada and Vegas has plenty of dispensaries, tourists continue to buy black market marijuana on the Strip. The problem is bad enough that the legislature is weighing a new law to do something about it. [KVVU]

👊 If you see any WWE fans in town for WrestleMania this weekend, give ‘em a fist bump.
Not only are they contributing $215 million to the local economy (give or take, just go with it), but their presence helped prompt a Tropicana exit on the I-15 to reopen today after years of construction 🚘
