🍽️ Iconic restaurant faces fraud scandal

April 29, 2025 · — Rob Kachelriess

⌛ Hey!

There are just three more days left in our spring Neighbors membership campaign.

The response has been amazing. So good, in fact, we’re just 15 new members away from reaching our goal.

So here’s some incentive — the City Cast team is promising to share our cutest, most embarrassing childhood photos with our members … but only if we reach our goal 🫣

And don’t forget — you get a Neighbors coffee mug if you sign up this week too ☕

🍽️ Son of Piero’s Founder Faces Fraud Charges

Police say Evan Glusman, the operating manager of Piero’s — and son of founder Freddie Glusman — found himself in jail, charged with taking out an unauthorized $1.5 million loan against the business and threatening gunfire inside it. Somehow, this only makes the iconic restaurant even more “Vegas.” [KLAS]

🛎️ Can the Las Vegas Concierge Survive the Internet Era?

  • You can’t rely on the internet for everything. A good concierge can still get you a deal on show tickets. [City Cast Las Vegas 🎧]

🧳 Symphony Park Hotel Sets Opening

  • Symphony Park will also welcome the first full-fledged art museum in Vegas. [City Cast Las Vegas 🎧]

🍺 Navigating the Henderson Booze District

Sure, you can go on a booze crawl in the Water Street District — and we have — but don’t overlook the Henderson Booze District. City Cast Las Vegas goes into the history of this unique location and how it has a little bit of everything — wine, beer, spirits, and mead 🐝 — all made locally. [City Cast Las Vegas 🎧]
