What's CITY Talking About?
🏒 Go Knights Go!
The Vegas Golden Knights face the Edmonton Oilers tonight at the T-Mobile Arena, kicking off the second round of playoffs. Funny enough, oddsmakers consider both teams even for the series, but gave the Oilers an edge to go all the way and win the Stanley Cup. Don’t ask me to explain. [Daily Faceoff]
⌛ REAL ID is Really Here
Tomorrow is the deadline to have a REAL ID designation on your Nevada ID or driver’s license if you plan to pass through TSA security checks anytime soon. While demand has led to a reservations-only policy in recent weeks, the DMV is allowing walk-ins for those with proof of flights scheduled within 45 days. [KVVU]
- Still confused? We have everything you need to know about getting a REAL ID. [Hey Las Vegas ✍️]
💸 The Price of Summer School
Everything comes with a fee in Las Vegas now — even learning. Parents are complaining about a $100 charge for summer school classes, which were previously free. [KTNV]
