🐶 Lombardo Signs Reba’s Law
Gov. Lombardo continues to set a record pace for vetoes following the latest legislative session, but “Dr. No” is also signing some bills into law too. The one known as Reba’s Law is now official, toughening the punishment for animal abuse cases that result in death — although a defendant who inspired it is expected to only serve seven months. The World Doping Agency is taking issue with the Enhanced Games, encouraging public authorities to shut down the event. Scheduled for Resorts World in 2026, the Olympic-style spectacle is permitting the use of performance-enhancing drugs and offering bonuses for those who set new records. [Associated Press]

Battista’s Hole in the Wall remains closed for renovations, but returns June 23 — at least according to available reservations.
