What's CITY Talking About?
🏜️ Hello, Where’s Monsoon Season?
Tomorrow marks two months since the official start of monsoon season, but you probably haven’t noticed. An active jet stream across the Pacific Northwest has shifted rainy weather to the east of Vegas, while keeping summer cooler than usual. Normally, we’d have a whopping half-inch of rain by now, but it’s just been two hundredths of an inch this season. [National Weather Service Las Vegas]

🧑⚕️ The Jobs Las Vegans Really Want
A UNLV survey reveals that Nevada job seekers are most actively searching for work in transportation, hospitality, and administration. However, the fastest growing sector is healthcare, which only ranked seventh in interest. [Nevada Current]
