🚔 Firework Shoppers Busted in Police Traps

Metro Police officers stayed busy during last month’s holiday season, pulling over highway drivers who legally bought fireworks in Pahrump and Moapa and were on their way back to Vegas, where that stuff isn’t legal, resulting in $500 fines. At least two of those drivers are fighting the citations, claiming they “thought” they were buying Clark County-approved “Safe and Sane” fireworks — but then again, you wouldn’t have to leave Vegas to buy those, would you? 🤔 [KTNV]

The above “intelligence” suggests at least somebody was, but the so-called transportation system of the future has expanded from the Convention Center to just three hotels in five years — yes, it’s been that long — and now Elon Musk wants to bring his Tesla taxis above ground to play in traffic.
