What's CITY Talking About?

🛍️ Spending Drops in Vegas (Along with Everything Else)

🤔 Metal Detectors in Schools?

According to a new poll, parents are showing support for the installation of weapons detection systems in local schools. The devices (similar to metal detectors) are already used for football games and other CCSD events. Meanwhile, frustration is growing over the lack of communication between school officials and parents after Monday’s lockdown at Durango High School. [KSNV]

🤬 UFC Arena Expansion a “Complete Lie”

UFC President Dana White slammed a news report that we sourced last week on the Apex arena expanding to 10,000 seats, saying “that entire story was a 🤬-ing absolute 🐂 💩 lie.” He did acknowledge $20 million was spent to upgrade the Apex at UFC headquarters. [Essentially Sports]
