🐶 $200 to Foster a Pet

Don’t call it a bribe. I prefer … incentive. Today is the final day of a program to earn $200 by fostering a dog to ease overcrowding at the Animal Foundation. The doggies must be at least six months old and more than 35 pounds — and you must commit to four weeks or longer. [KSNV]

♥️ Grief and Healing

A lot of you are familiar with Scott Dickensheets, the original editor of this newsletter. Scott is still very much a part of our City Cast family, checking in with a joke or kind word here and there — and allowing us to drag him back onto the podcast (which we’re already planning to do again very soon) to share his wit and insight on Las Vegas. His personal life is his story to tell, so take a moment today to read Scott’s guest essay on loss and grief, published on our friend Kim Foster’s website. [The Great Perhaps]
