💸 The Bank-to-Slot-Machine Pipeline Is Here
This sounds like a terrible idea, so of course we could see it in Vegas soon. A local company has unveiled a Universal Payment Adapter, giving casino customers a QR code to link their bank account to slot machines. It’s already being used in other parts of the country, including Miami, where a casino reported a revenue boost of $10 million. You don’t say? [Nevada Independent]
🎯 Thousands Targeted for DMV Violations
Your neighbors hate you. Need proof? The Nevada DMV has now received nearly 5,000 citizen complaints less than two weeks after launching a new website to report cars with expired tags, expired registration, and ubiquitous empty license plate holders — as synonymous with Las Vegas these days as shrimp cocktail.
