🥴 Drugged Gambling: Who’s To Blame?
A man left the Aria’s high-limit blackjack room with thousands of dollars in chips — and the next thing he remembers is waking up in handcuffs at the security office. The high roller claims he was drugged and is suing MGM Resorts, saying Aria staff allowed him to take out $75,000 in credit while incapacitated. [Las Vegas Review-Journal]
- City Cast Las Vegas digs deeper into this story during the latest Friday news roundup, along with a local business that Oprah loves and the argument that visiting a Station Casinos property is a political statement. [City Cast Las Vegas 🎧]

👌 Our New Art Museum Is Lookin’ Sharp
The Las Vegas Museum of Art, which we predicted was on pace to debut in 2028, is now scheduled to open in 2029. Some fancy new renderings show off the latest design, inspired by the Valley of Fire, Red Rock Canyon, and the Mojave Desert 👀 [Los Angeles Times]
🍸 Main Street Bar Hopping
Try to keep up. Swan Dive, which hosts all sorts of events, from EDM parties to pro wrestling, is leaving the Colorado building in the Arts District and moving down Main Street next to the Ugly Duckling Karaoke Lounge and will be replaced by Bizarre Bar. Meanwhile, Hogs & Heifers (which closed on 3rd St. and has a new location planned on Main and Bridger) is taking over Sand Dollar Downtown (which just closed a few days ago) at the Plaza as a pop-up in January.
