🎸 Your guide to June in Las Vegas
June 2, 2026 · — Layla Muhammad
👋 Happy June, Las Vegas!
Can you believe we’re already (almost) halfway through the year? City Cast Las Vegas is back with another edition of our expanded monthly guide to help you do the next 30 days right 🔥

Hacks for a Better June
⚽ Kick It at a World Cup Viewing Party
Las Vegas isn't hosting any World Cup matches — Allegiant Stadium couldn't make it work — but the city is leaning into its role as the best place to watch the world's biggest football soccer tournament 👀 Every game over the six-week championship will be on at Circa's Stadium Swim and Sportsbook, starting June 11, which is sure to be a packed house. If Circa feels like too much of a scene, there are plenty of other spots around the valley to find your people and preferred level of chaos.
🗳️ Don’t Sleep on the Primary
Early voting ends this Friday, June 5. If you miss that window, Nevada's primary is Tuesday, June 9. Clark County has a bit of an embarrassing track record when it comes to voter turnout, especially for the primary … so let's not make it a habit. There are some genuinely consequential races on the ballot this year, and your community needs you to weigh in. Find your polling place and see what's on the ballot before you head out.
🇺🇲 Celebrating America’s 250th All Summer Long
The country's 250th birthday isn't until July 4th, but the party is already getting started around the valley. Hoover Dam kicked things off over Memorial Day weekend with a special red, white, and blue light activation, along with the nation’s largest on-display American flag, that continues through July 4. Meanwhile, weekly fireworks take place at alternating locations on the Strip and Downtown, every Saturday, from June 6 to July 25.
🌡️ Your Summer Survival Guide
The first official day of summer is Friday, June 21, but the heat isn't waiting until then. Las Vegas hit 100 degrees for the frist time this year in early May, which means we're already in it. Keep a water bottle surgically attached to your body, never touch your steering wheel without checking it first, and start identifying your favorite free air-conditioned spaces for the next few months. Libraries, casinos, and the mall are your friends. Bookmark Clark County’s cooling stations list for when it gets updated this summer.

City Cast Las Vegas Team ‘Consumer Report’
What our team is consuming this month:
- Dayvid is rewatching “Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2” to decide if the 4.3 million in Nevada tax credits it got was a good investment.
- Jacqueline is in search of good Dim Sum — and open to suggestions!
- Jacob is staying cool with some soft-serve taiyaki from Somi Somi.
- Jesse is on the hunt for some new walking trails around the valley.
- Layla is working on her loose leaf tea collection from Herbally Grounded on Charleston.
- Rob is feeling the heat of the spicy tom zaab sea bass soup at 328 Thai.
💜 If you're still coming down from BTS taking over Las Vegas last month, same. Consider this your official prescription for a great June.
