🎸 Your guide to July in Las Vegas
July 1, 2026 · — Rob Kachelriess
🥵 It’s July in Las Vegas!
Yes, it’s hot, but we have a lot to celebrate — most notably July 4th 🇺🇲 We explain how to make the most of the holiday fun, plus other cool stuff to do throughout the month.

Hacks for a Better June
🎆 Know Where to See Independence Day Fireworks
Las Vegas celebrates America’s 250th birthday with fireworks throughout the valley, from the Strip and Downtown to Henderson, Summerlin, and beyond. Study up on our fireworks guide to pick a location (and understand the quirky local legalities if you want to set any off yourself).
- That’s not all: To extend the celebration, fireworks take place every Saturday this month in Las Vegas. That’s in addition to “Welcome to the Weekend” fireworks above the Plaza every Friday.
⛰️ Beat the Heat on Mt. Charleson
The higher elevation and lower temperatures of Mt. Charleston is a welcome relief this time of year. So pay a visit to Lee Canyon, which just unveiled its first multi-use trail. The winding forest pathway is two miles uphill and two miles downhill with 850 feet of elevation gain. Soak in the views of surrounding peaks and breathe in the pine-fresh air. Lee Canyon also has mountain biking and morning yoga throughout summer with a big July 4th bash with live music.
🇺🇲 Spend and Save the American Way
There are tons of deals and discounts throughout the valley to celebrate America’s birthday, but we’re extra impressed with Tuscany Suites’ commitment to the theme. All month long, visitors can enjoy $2.50 prices on all kinds of stuff: large regular coffee at Café Bottega, select bottles of beer and well drinks at the Casino Bar, Chili Dogs at the Hot Dog Cart near the front entrance (Mon.-Fri. 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.), an order of French fries at PUB 365 (Noon - 1 a.m. daily), two eggs and toast or a slice of apple pie at Marilyn’s Café (7 a.m. – 10 p.m. daily). You can also get a $250 Tomahawk steak dinner for two with sides, desserts, and a bottle of cabernet at Bistecca Italian Steakhouse.
